Riverlands of SetteRealm

The Rogue States. During the Third Age, the Amati drove the Setins from the continent of Amr. They were forced South and pushed into the sea; the Sette people escaped by quickly building ships and sailing south. These early ships were dangerous, so a great many were lost in the ocean. Those who survived settled this region of Ruleun and were forgotten for many ages.

The Setins adapted to become skilled survivalists, roaming the northwestern region of Ruleun. The rivers brought poison from the mountains; ash would corrupt the water unpredictably. At some point, the gnomes of Rultar met the Setins and provided them with a method of irrigation and water wells to use during the limited times that their rivers became hazardous to themselves and their crops. This has resulted in a close relationship with the gnomes as the Setins could finally settle the land.

Within the Riverlands of Sette, the contemporary traveler finds a region that struggles again to survive. Mirin forces are attempting to remove the Sette from the river lands, declaring them the ancient lands of a tribe of dragonborn. The Sette view this as a great irony coming from Amr, and have dedicated themselves to keeping their new home they won long ago.
