The Voidrealm was born from an ancient sundering, consisting of isolated existences tethered together by thin ley-lines of fading magic. The True Void reaches in from the abyss, consuming anything not protected by a worlds’ soul. Life is a precious ember, glowing against a backdrop of infinate silence, itself consumed hungrily by an unknown behemoth.

The current epoch is “The Great Silence.” It is defined by the period where high magic of the Akarian Age have faded long into myth, leaving behind worlds of scarred continents and isolated civilizations. While the “Breath” allows for travel between spheres, the void-storms surrounding many stars prove that the cosmology remains fractured and dangerous. It is a realm of magnificent ruins, where the survivors build atop bone and scars of the wars that still mark all worlds and planes.
