Oasis of Linar. This desert town is widely known as being a respite of desert travelers. The unforgiving heat of Desert Wakarah quickly fades into the frozen wastes of the Great North. The ruins of many former Northguard fortresses can be found here, lost during the War of Tarnti and the scourge of heat that has befallen the land. Being the site of a major theater of war, a failed Div campaign to invade from the North, the remains of the fallen Northguard Fourth and Sixth Legions can be found throughout this desert. Linar is populated by the explorers, and adventurers, who try to recover and study lost artifacts and lore from that period. Few magical items are found here presently, though Linar was originally founded as a recovery effort of magical treasures lost in the desert.
