It is a legacy settlement from the War of Tarnti where the Drow and expeditionary forces of Sha negotiated a treaty to secure the assistance of many great houses of the UnderworldUnderdark to defend Tarnti. The city is slowly vacating, and the Drow are preparing to magically close this entrance forever within a few centuries.
