Port Sare is part of Thistle, Kingdom of Slet. While lording over a large region, it has a small populace. Travel through these lands can be uneasy, as the land is littered with a few ghost cities and many abandoned human villages. Roads no longer traveled in centuries lead to the ruins of the ancient empire that once claimed all of Amr, or to the isolated halfling towns that may or may not welcome outlanders.

As an allied kingdom to Mirin, the capital city of Port Sare lends its sea. From here the naval power of Mirin extends south to the continent of Ruleun. The trading post of Kisam was established on one of the few roads that remains in common use between Port Sare and Mirin. Beyond this, little is widely known of Port Sare or Thistle, Kingdom of Slet. The governance of this region takes little from the general business that goes on here, and the martial areas of the port are well guarded from intrusion.
